Context
A dedicated portal to assess the impact of health applications
The French Digital Health Agency wanted a dedicated portal to measure and project the CO₂ impact of web and mobile health applications.
This assessment is mandatory to be listed on Mon Espace Santé. The scheme covers two categories of applications:
The project had to allow publishers to perform their own assessment, with no prior training, while ensuring measurement reliability.
- general applications;
- teleconsultation applications.
Results
70+ publishers assessed on the Ecoscore Portal
- Public evaluation and ranking of publishers by the French Digital Health Agency on the Ecoscore Portal.
- 70+ publishers assessed.
- Assessment performed by publishers themselves, with no prior training, thanks to Greenspector Studio's intuitive interface.
Keys to success
What made the difference
Self-service onboarding
The interface was reworked with a dedicated tutorial so publishers can complete their assessment independently.
Measurements on real devices
Measurements on real devices convinced the ANS of the reliability of the Greenspector approach.
A dedicated white-label portal
A dedicated white-label portal was deployed to display results and make them easy to consult.
Tests adapted to teleconsultation
Teleconsultation tests run on two devices simultaneously to reflect real usage conditions.
Testimonial
Dr Brigitte Séroussi speaks
« To ensure maximum ecoscore reliability, teams relied on Greenspector, which reliably assesses the environmental impact of a health application. »
« Greenspector is based on measurement throughout the real application usage journey, rather than simply calculating the environmental impact of loading the home page. »
